Job Summary
We are seeking a creative, detail-oriented, and proactive Content & Social Media Executive to develop, manage, and optimize content across digital platforms. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning content calendars, creating engaging written content, managing social media channels, coordinating creative assets, and ensuring consistent brand communication that drives engagement, website traffic, and lead generation.
Key Responsibilities:
Content Creation & Management
- Develop original, engaging, and high-quality content for websites, blogs, landing pages, email campaigns, brochures, and marketing collateral.
- Write compelling copy for social media posts, advertisements, newsletters, and promotional campaigns.
- Research industry trends and customer interests to generate relevant content ideas.
- Ensure all content aligns with the organization's brand guidelines, tone, and messaging.
- Edit, proofread, and optimize content for clarity, grammar, and SEO best practices.
- Maintain and update website content regularly.
Content Planning & Strategy
- Develop monthly and quarterly content calendars.
- Plan content around campaigns, events, product launches, and seasonal opportunities.
- Coordinate with internal teams to collect information for content development.
- Identify opportunities for thought leadership and brand awareness.
Social Media Management
- Manage the organization's presence across platforms such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, X (Twitter), YouTube, and other relevant channels.
- Schedule and publish content using social media management tools.
- Monitor audience engagement and respond to comments and messages in a professional and timely manner.
- Build online communities and improve audience engagement.
- Monitor competitors and industry trends to identify content opportunities.
Campaign Support
- Collaborate with the Digital Marketing team on SEO, Meta Ads, Google Ads, email marketing, and lead generation campaigns.
- Develop supporting content for paid campaigns and promotional initiatives.
- Assist in campaign planning and execution.
Creative Coordination
- Work closely with graphic designers and video editors to produce creative assets.
- Prepare content briefs for graphics, videos, reels, and promotional materials.
- Ensure timely delivery of creative requirements.
Performance Monitoring
- Track content and social media performance using analytics tools.
- Prepare weekly and monthly reports on engagement, reach, follower growth, website traffic, and content performance.
- Recommend improvements based on performance insights.
Brand Management
- Maintain consistency in branding, messaging, and communication across all platforms.
- Ensure accuracy of published information.
- Support online reputation management and maintain professional digital communication standards.
Required Skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Strong copywriting, editing, and proofreading abilities.
- Creative thinking with excellent storytelling skills.
- Good understanding of social media algorithms and platform best practices.
- Basic knowledge of SEO and keyword optimization.
- Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress.
- Experience with social media scheduling tools (Buffer, Hootsuite, Meta Business Suite, etc.).
- Basic understanding of Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar design tools.
- Ability to coordinate multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, Digital Marketing, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in content creation and social media management.
- Experience in content marketing, brand management, or digital marketing.
- Knowledge of Google Analytics, Search Console, and AI-assisted content creation tools is an added advantage.
