Role Description The Onboarding Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai, responsible for guiding new users and partners through a smooth introduction to Book Awestruck. This role involves welcoming and educating customers on platform features, setting up accounts, and ensuring they understand how to discover and book experiences that fit their preferences. The Onboarding Specialist will coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve onboarding issues, collect feedback, and refine onboarding processes and documentation. Daily tasks include conducting walkthroughs or demos, answering queries via multiple channels, monitoring onboarding metrics, and proactively identifying opportunities to improve customer satisfaction and engagement. The role also supports partner (venue and experience provider) onboarding, ensuring listings are accurate, complete, and aligned with Awestruck’s standards.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Interpersonal Skills and Communication abilities to build trust and deliver clear, user-friendly guidance.
Candidates should possess Customer Onboarding and Client Onboarding experience to manage end-to-end setup and activation for individual users and partners.
Candidates should possess Analytical Skills to interpret onboarding data, identify trends, and recommend process improvements.
Candidates should possess proficiency with basic CRM or customer success tools, documentation practices, and workflow management.
Relevant experience in customer success, operations, or onboarding within tech, consumer apps, or experience-based businesses is beneficial.
Bachelor’s degree in any discipline or equivalent practical experience, with a focus on customer-facing roles, is preferred.
Ability to work on-site in Mumbai, manage multiple onboarding activities concurrently, and collaborate effectively with product, operations, and support teams.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
