Maintenance Technician – Electrical, Plumbing & AC
Location: Thirunagar, Madurai

Salary: ₹13,000–₹15,000 per month, based on experience and practical ability
Working hours: 9:30 am to 6:30 pm
Working days: Six days per week
Weekly off: One day per week
A large private residence in Thirunagar, Madurai requires a reliable Maintenance Technician to attend to the day-to-day electrical, plumbing and air-conditioner maintenance of the property.
This is a permanent, single-location position suitable for a junior technician looking for stable employment.
Responsibilities
- Attend to electrical, plumbing and air-conditioner maintenance requirements within the residence
- Replace switches, sockets, light fittings, fan capacitors, regulators and other electrical accessories
- Check MCBs, water pumps, pump starters, water-level controllers and lighting systems
- Attend to leaking taps, flush tanks, valves, flexible hoses, pipe joints and sanitary fittings
- Clear drain and AC drain-pipe blockages
- Clean and maintain split and window air conditioners
- Check AC plugs, sockets, stabilisers, drainage and cooling performance
- Identify faults and arrange the required repair or service
- Carry out regular maintenance checks throughout the property
- Keep tools, fittings and maintenance materials properly organised
- Maintain a record of repairs, replacements and service dates
- Coordinate with outside electricians, plumbers and AC technicians whenever required
- Receive and supervise service technicians attending the property
- other work as allotted
Candidate profile
- Familiarity with residential electrical work, plumbing and split or window air conditioners
- Experience as an electrician, plumber, AC technician, technician assistant or maintenance worker will be considered
- Freshers with relevant practical exposure may also apply
- Ability to use electrical and plumbing tools
- Willingness to understand the property’s systems and independently attend to maintenance work
- Responsible, punctual and organised
- Smartphone required
- Two-wheeler preferred
- Valid identity proof and address proof required
- Previous employment or work references preferred
Candidates currently residing between Thirupparankundram and Thirumangalam, including Thirunagar, Harveypatti, Thanakkankulam, Thoppur, Koothiyarkundu, Kappalur and nearby areas, will be preferred.
