Job Title: Assistant Professor – Computer Science & Engineering
We are seeking a dedicated and innovative educator to join our Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) Department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality lectures, mentoring students in technical projects, and contributing to the department's research output. You will play a key role in shaping the next generation of engineers by staying at the forefront of technological advancements.
Key Responsibilities
- Teaching & Curriculum: Deliver undergraduate and postgraduate courses in core subjects like Data Structures, Algorithms, OS, and AI.
- Research & Publication: Conduct original research, publish in peer-reviewed journals, and apply for research grants.
- Mentorship: Supervise student projects, internships, and provide academic counseling.
- Lab Management: Oversee departmental labs and ensure students gain hands-on experience with modern tools and software.
- Administrative Duties: Participate in departmental meetings, accreditation processes (like NBA/NAAC), and curriculum development.
Qualifications
- Education: Ph.D. in Computer Science or NET/ SET in related subject .
- Previous Teaching Experience is Preferred
Key Skills & Competencies
- Programming Proficiency: Expert-level knowledge in Java, Python, C++, or R.
- Specialized Domains: Knowledge in emerging areas such as Machine Learning, Cloud Computing, Cyber Security, or Blockchain.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to simplify complex technical concepts for students.
- Analytical Thinking: Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for continuous learning.
- Software Tools: Proficiency with Version Control (Git), IDEs (VS Code, IntelliJ), and Simulation tools (MATLAB, NS3).
