The “Urban Infrastructure” product line is responsible for all the engineering activities related to the development of projects in the field of Urban infrastructure, large area development ,roads and services for industrial projects and transportation .These projects go from the technical due diligence, pre-feasibility studies up to final commissioning
Reporting
This position shall be reporting to Product head – Urban Infrastructure
Your Job function
Strategy
Contribute to the overall strategy of Urban Infrastructure product.
Grow the Urban development activities, by taking into account Tractebel India’s and Business Line Urban overall strategies.
Develop a deep understanding of the market needs and trends to develop and implement adequate competencies, services and solutions in Urban Infrastructure domain.
Project and technical management
Implement an effective Project Management system in order to optimise the delivery of the Projects including the development and implementation of methodologies and tools in line with the corporate global procedures and policies.
Provides insights on project management approaches.
Monitor the portfolio of projects in terms of financial performance, budgets, risks, etc.
Conduct project reviews and provide guidance to the teams when needed.
Technical Expertise and Learning
Lead the Urban Practice efforts to grow the company's knowledge and market by supporting the Urban development team. This includes sharing project knowledge, experiences, and best practices, and helping staff and clients discuss these topics.
Encourage learning within the Urban Infrastructure team and across TRACTEBEL-ENGIE’s different areas to promote successful and sustainable local development solutions.
Relationship Building and Business Development
Help to define and prioritize the market, targets and go to market strategy in Tractebel India for Urban Infrastructure development.
Contribute to expand TRACTEBEL India’s network of Urban development experts and consultants.
Provide guidance during preparation of proposals to BD & Sales team.
Your profile
Master’s Degree in Civil engineering / Infrastructure Management or in similar field.
At least 10-15 years of professional experience in managing the Urban business.
PMP Certification- Mandatory requirement
Significant experience in team management.
Business Development/project development experience
Hands-on experience on design, engineering and execution of Urban projects.
Special Attributes
Good written & verbal communication skills
Ability to function in teams spread across different geographies
Ability to lead teams and deliver defined work packages
