Job Overview
We are looking for a motivated and skilled Laravel Developer with 1–2 years of hands-on experience to join our development team. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of Laravel and PHP, a good understanding of database-driven web applications, and additional working knowledge of Node.js.
The candidate should also be comfortable working with modern AI-assisted development tools, particularly Windsurf and Cursor, and should be able to use them effectively to improve development speed, code quality, debugging, and problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and enhance web applications using Laravel and PHP.
- Build and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services.
- Develop clean, reusable, scalable, and maintainable code.
- Work with relational databases and write efficient queries.
- Integrate third-party APIs and external services.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve application bugs and performance issues.
- Collaborate with frontend developers, designers, QA, and other team members.
- Participate in code reviews and follow established coding standards.
- Write and maintain technical documentation when required.
- Assist in application deployment, maintenance, and production issue resolution.
- Understand existing codebases and contribute to improving application architecture.
- Use Windsurf and Cursor effectively for coding, debugging, refactoring, code exploration, documentation, and development productivity.
- Explore and adopt modern development practices that improve efficiency without compromising code quality or security.
Required Skills
- 1–2 years of professional experience in PHP/Laravel development.
- Strong understanding of Laravel fundamentals, including:
- MVC architecture
- Routing
- Middleware
- Authentication and authorization
- Eloquent ORM
- Migrations and seeders
- Queues and jobs
- Events and notifications
- API development
- Good knowledge of PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Good understanding of MySQL or other relational databases.
- Experience developing and consuming REST APIs.
- Understanding of Git and standard version-control practices.
- Basic understanding of application security and performance optimization.
- Working knowledge of Node.js and familiarity with backend development using Node.js.
- Practical experience using Windsurf and Cursor in day-to-day software development.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
Good to Have
- Experience with Node.js frameworks or libraries.
- Familiarity with modern frontend technologies.
- Experience with Redis, queues, caching, or background jobs.
- Knowledge of automated testing.
- Experience working with cloud environments or deployment processes.
- Understanding of Docker and containerized applications.
- Familiarity with CI/CD workflows.
- Experience integrating payment gateways, third-party APIs, or external services.

Education
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred, but candidates with strong practical development experience may also be considered.
