About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Farm Supervisor to manage and oversee daily agricultural operations at our farm located in Vellaputhur, Chengalpattu. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical knowledge in farming practices, workforce supervision, and operational planning to ensure smooth and efficient farm management.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate day-to-day farm activities and field operations.
- Monitor crop cultivation, irrigation, harvesting, fertilization, and pest control activities.
- Manage and guide farm workers to ensure productivity and operational efficiency.
- Ensure proper maintenance of farm equipment, machinery, and infrastructure.
- Maintain records related to production, inventory, labor, and farm inputs.
- Implement best agricultural practices to improve crop yield and quality.
- Ensure compliance with safety, hygiene, and operational standards.
- Coordinate with management regarding farm planning and reporting.
Candidate Requirements
- 5 to 15 years of relevant experience in farm operations and supervision.
- Strong understanding of agricultural and horticultural practices.
- Ability to manage manpower and field operations independently.
- Good communication and leadership skills.
- Willingness to work at farm locations.
- Candidates from nearby regions will be preferred.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
