Job Summary
The Logistics Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing all logistics activities related to domestic transportation, exports, imports, warehousing, and distribution. The role ensures timely delivery of materials and finished goods while maintaining compliance with statutory regulations, minimizing logistics costs, and improving operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
1. Domestic Logistics
Plan and monitor dispatch of finished goods to customers across India.
Coordinate with transporters for timely pickups and deliveries.
Optimize freight costs and vehicle utilization.
Monitor delivery performance and resolve transportation issues.
Maintain dispatch records and proof of deliveries (PODs).
2. Export Operations
Handle complete export documentation including Invoice, Packing List, Shipping Bill, Bill of Lading/AWB, Certificate of Origin, and other export documents.
Coordinate with CHA, freight forwarders, shipping lines, and customs authorities.
Ensure compliance with DGFT, Customs, and international trade regulations.
Monitor shipment schedules and ensure timely execution of export orders.
Track export consignments until final delivery.
3. Import Operations
Coordinate import shipments with overseas suppliers and freight forwarders.
Manage customs clearance and import documentation.
Monitor shipment status and ensure timely receipt of imported materials.
Coordinate with purchase and stores departments for material availability.
Ensure compliance with import regulations and statutory requirements.
4. Warehouse & Inventory Coordination
Coordinate with warehouse for receipt, storage, and dispatch of materials.
Ensure proper inventory movement and stock accuracy.
Minimize inventory losses and transportation damages.
Support periodic inventory audits.
5. Documentation & Compliance
Shoulde be knowleadge of all documentation and compliance.
6. Cost Control
Negotiate freight rates with transporters and logistics partners.
Identify opportunities for logistics cost reduction.
Monitor transportation budgets and freight expenses.
Analyze logistics KPIs and recommend improvements.
7. Coordination
Coordinate with Production, Planning, Purchase, Sales, Finance, and Stores departments.
Liaise with customs brokers, freight forwarders, transporters, shipping lines, and government authorities.
Resolve logistics-related customer complaints efficiently.

Qualification
Bechlors & Masters.
Experience
5–10 years of experience in logistics within a manufacturing company.
Hands-on experience in domestic transportation, export/import operations, customs procedures, freight management, and warehouse coordination.
Required Skills
Strong knowledge of Export-Import documentation and customs procedures.
Understanding of Incoterms, DGFT, Customs, GST, and E-Way Bill regulations.
Expertise in freight negotiation and transporter management.
ERP (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.) and Microsoft Excel proficiency.
Excellent communication, negotiation, planning, and analytical skills.
Strong leadership and team management abilities.
Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Preferred Industry
Manufacturing, Textile, or Industrial Products.
Pay: ₹600,000.00 - ₹700,000.00 per year
