The Chief Engineer is responsible for overseeing the overall maintenance, safety, and functionality of the hotel’s infrastructure, equipment, and systems. This role ensures smooth operations of all engineering services while maintaining compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the engineering and maintenance department
- Ensure all hotel equipment, machinery, and facilities are functioning efficiently
- Plan and execute preventive maintenance schedules for all systems (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, etc.)
- Handle breakdowns and emergency repairs promptly
- Monitor utility consumption (electricity, water, diesel) and implement cost-control measures
- Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, safety standards, and fire norms
- Supervise and train engineering staff and technicians
- Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for specialized repairs and AMC services
- Maintain records of maintenance logs, equipment history, and inventory of spare parts
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house facilities
- Ensure uninterrupted power supply, DG set operations, and backup systems

Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
