Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to lead the company's Finance & Accounts function. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in financial planning, accounting, taxation, cost control, budgeting, statutory compliance, and financial reporting within an automotive manufacturing environment. The role requires strong analytical, leadership, and decision-making skills to support business growth and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Planning & Budgeting
- Prepare annual budgets, financial forecasts, and business plans.
- Monitor budget performance and recommend corrective actions.
- Support management with financial planning and strategic decision-making.
Financial Reporting
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Generate MIS reports and present financial performance to management.
- Analyze revenue, expenses, profitability, and financial trends.
Cost & Manufacturing Finance
- Manage product costing, standard costing, and cost analysis.
- Monitor manufacturing costs, material consumption, and production expenses.
- Analyze cost variances and recommend cost reduction initiatives.
- Support inventory valuation and cost optimization.
Accounting Operations
- Oversee Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), and bank reconciliations.
- Ensure timely month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Maintain accurate accounting records in compliance with accounting standards.
Statutory Compliance & Taxation
- Ensure timely filing of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory returns.
- Maintain compliance with all applicable financial and taxation regulations.
- Coordinate with auditors and statutory authorities during audits and assessments.
Cash Flow & Working Capital Management
- Monitor daily cash flow and fund requirements.
- Optimize working capital by managing receivables, payables, and inventory.
- Coordinate banking activities, payments, and fund utilization.
Audit & Internal Controls
- Lead internal and external audit activities.
- Establish and strengthen internal financial controls.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting procedures.
- Identify financial risks and implement corrective actions.
Inventory & Fixed Asset Management
- Monitor inventory accounting and inventory valuation.
- Manage fixed asset accounting, depreciation, and capital expenditure records.
- Ensure accurate inventory reconciliation and asset verification.
ERP & Financial Systems
- Manage financial operations using ERP systems such as SAP FICO, Oracle ERP, or Tally Prime.
- Improve financial reporting through automation and process improvements.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity within financial systems.
Business Partnering
- Collaborate with Production, Procurement, Supply Chain, Sales, and HR departments.
- Provide financial insights to support operational and strategic decisions.
- Evaluate investment proposals and capital expenditure projects.
Team Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and develop the Finance & Accounts team.
- Allocate responsibilities and monitor team performance.
- Conduct training to improve accounting knowledge and statutory compliance.
Continuous Improvement
- Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and operational efficiency.
- Drive cost-saving initiatives and process standardization.
- Support business growth through effective financial management and strategic planning.
Qualifications
- CA / CMA / MBA (Finance) / M.Com / B.Com
