Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven General Manager to lead and oversee the overall business operations of our organization in Bahrain. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth, improving operational efficiency, managing cross-functional teams, and ensuring the successful execution of business strategies.
Preference will be given to candidates currently residing in Bahrain and available for immediate joining.
The General Manager will serve as the key link between the Managing Director and Regional Heads, ensuring alignment of business objectives across all departments while building a high-performance, process-driven organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage overall business operations, sales performance, and profitability.
- Supervise Regional Heads and functional departments to ensure operational excellence.
- Develop and implement strategies to achieve company growth targets and business objectives.
- Establish and maintain a self-sustaining, process-driven business model with minimal day-to-day management intervention.
- Monitor branch, regional, and departmental performance through KPIs and business reviews.
- Drive operational improvements and continuous process enhancement initiatives.
- Ensure effective coordination between Sales, Operations, Inventory, Purchase, Finance, HR, Marketing, and Administration departments.
- Lead market expansion initiatives, customer acquisition strategies, and business development activities.
- Coordinate with Purchase, Sales, and Inventory teams to ensure procurement aligns with market demand.
- Maintain healthy cash flow through effective receivables management, timely collections, and customer credit control.
- Develop and mentor departmental leaders while fostering a culture of accountability, ownership, and performance.
- Support strategic planning, organizational growth, and expansion initiatives directed by the Managing Director.
- Analyze business performance and implement corrective actions to improve profitability and efficiency.
- Ensure company policies, procedures, and operational standards are effectively implemented across all business units.
Requirements and Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Management, or a related field.
- Master's Degree (MBA) preferred.
Experience
- 10–15+ years of experience in Electronics Distribution, Wholesale Trading, Retail Trading, or similar industries.
- Proven experience in managing multi-branch and multi-department operations.
- Strong background in sales management, business operations, and leadership roles.
- GCC experience is highly preferred.
