We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Quality Manager / Deputy Quality Manager to lead laboratory operations, maintain quality systems, and ensure compliance with ISO/IEC 17025:2017 standards and NABL requirements.
Key ResponsibilitiesLaboratory Operations & Administration
- Oversee daily laboratory administration and operational activities.
- Ensure discipline, safety, and proper working conditions within the laboratory.
- Maintain smooth functioning of laboratory testing and reporting processes.
Quality Management System (QMS)
- Establish, implement, and maintain Laboratory Management Systems as per ISO/IEC 17025:2017.
- Monitor testing activities and evaluate the effectiveness of the management system.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards, confidentiality, impartiality, and integrity requirements.
Audits & Compliance
- Plan and conduct Internal Audits and Management Review Meetings.
- Coordinate with NABL for accreditation, assessments, and surveillance activities.
- Maintain audit documentation and support compliance activities.
Team Management & Training
- Identify and coordinate training requirements for laboratory personnel.
- Guide and supervise laboratory staff to ensure operational efficiency and quality compliance.
Customer & Reporting Management
- Handle customer complaints, feedback, and customer satisfaction activities.
- Review and authorize test reports wherever applicable.
- Prepare and present QMS performance reports to management.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate Degree in relevant field
- ISO/IEC 17025:2017 Internal Auditor Certification – Mandatory
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Quality/Laboratory Management
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025:2017 standards
- Experience with NABL accreditation and audit processes
- Leadership and team management capabilities
- Strong documentation and compliance management skills
- Good communication and analytical abilities
- Problem-solving and process improvement mindset
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Experience in industrial products, coatings, manufacturing, or infrastructure sectors preferred
- Ability to handle laboratory operations independently
