Role Overview
We are looking for a Video Editor Intern to join our creative team. This internship is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about storytelling, digital content, and video production to gain hands-on experience. The intern will assist in editing video content for various platforms and learn how to adapt footage into engaging final products.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit raw video footage into polished content for social media, marketing, and other digital platforms.
- Add music, graphics, sound effects, and transitions as needed.
- Collaborate with the creative/marketing team to ensure content aligns with brand identity and goals.
- Assist with organising and managing video assets and project files.
- Stay updated on video editing trends and suggest new ideas.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Film, Media, Communications, or related field (preferred, but not mandatory).
- Basic knowledge of video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, etc.).
- Understanding of different video formats and aspect ratios for social media platforms.
- Strong attention to detail, creativity, and willingness to learn.
- Ability to meet deadlines and take feedback positively.
