Job Description
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Architectural Draftsman with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in preparing architectural drawings and construction documentation. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical drafting skills, excellent knowledge of AutoCAD, and the ability to work collaboratively with architects and project teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed architectural working drawings, floor plans, elevations, sections, and construction drawings.
- Develop submission drawings in accordance with local authority regulations.
- Prepare detailed interior and architectural drawings as per project requirements.
- Revise and update drawings based on design modifications and site requirements.
- Coordinate with architects, consultants, and project teams to ensure drawing accuracy.
- Maintain drawing revisions and project documentation.
- Ensure drawings comply with Company standards and project specifications.
- Attend site visits for measurements and verification whenever required.
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Architectural Drafting, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in architectural drafting.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD is mandatory.
- Knowledge of SketchUp, Revit, or other architectural software will be an added advantage.
- Strong understanding of architectural drawings, construction detailing, and building standards.
- Good communication, coordination, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.
Preferred
- Experience in residential, commercial, and interior design projects.
- Familiarity with local building by-laws and approval drawings.
- Willingness to travel for site visits within Madurai and nearby locations, whenever required.
