A leading brand in the building services industry is seeking an experienced professional to join their growing team in Mumbai. The company provides comprehensive services from conceptualization to implementation, specializing in Design, Engineering, Sales, Maintenance, and Manufacturing for HVAC, PHE, IAQ, and Fire systems.
Role Overview
Position: Manager for Pumps, Valves, Air Purification, UVGI & Water Purification.
Functional Area: National Sales & Business Development of engineering products.
Role Category: Pumps, Valves, UVGI & Air Purification.
Location: Mumbai, Maharashtra (Local candidates only).
Employment Type: Permanent / Full Time.
Key Responsibility Areas (KRA)
Strategy & Growth: Develop and drive sales strategies aligned with business goals to achieve annual budgets and targets.
Market Expansion: Execute strategies for customer base expansion and retention while increasing market share.
Performance Management: Formulate, monitor, and communicate quarterly/monthly sales targets and forecasts for various product segments.
Territory Planning: Plan sales events, visits, and workshops for the territory based on allocated budgets.
Team Leadership: Identify new potential territories and appoint Sales Engineers/Managers; support them in driving sales and managing collections.
Operational Excellence: Provide demand planning inputs to the regional sales head and monitor progress on assigned product segments.
Channel Development: Design guidelines for effective distributor channels and monitor the effectiveness of channel partners for UVGI systems.
Reporting: Build MIS and other daily/weekly/monthly reports for review by the Regional Head.
Job Responsibilities
Introduce the company to potential clients via telephone, meetings, and email (B2B/Corporate Sales).
Promote sales of Air Purification and Environment-related products.
Generate new enquiries and acquire new customers through lead generation projects.
Liaise with Architects, Hoteliers, Builders, Hospital Consultants, Interior Designers, and MEP Consultants.
Monitor marketing activities and implement strategies to maximize revenue and collection targets.
Identify potential clients based on market research and feedback.
Maintain and update technical documents, quality manuals, and standard operating procedures.
Provide guidance on product marketing plans and monitor installations for Residential & Commercial systems.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education: MBA (Sales & Marketing), B.Tech Mechanical, or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
Alternative Education: Degree/Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, Instrumentation, or Automation).
Experience: 8 – 12 years of relevant experience.
Skills:
Strong interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills.
Sound knowledge of MS Office.
High level of intelligence and a problem-solving attitude.
Other Requirements:
Must have a personal vehicle for commuting.
Appetite to learn and an extremely positive attitude.
Pay: ₹1,200,910.34 - ₹1,700,006.87 per year
