Truebook Professional Services Pvt. Ltd. develops healthcare integration solutions for healthcare organizations across Canada. We are building a middleware platform that connects Pharmacy Management Systems with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems using HL7 FHIR R4 standards, replacing traditional fax-based workflows with secure, automated data exchange.
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Healthcare Integration Engineer to lead the development of a healthcare interoperability platform. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing integrations between pharmacy software and physician EMR systems using HL7 FHIR R4 APIs.
This role is ideal for someone with strong healthcare IT integration experience who can independently design, develop, test, and deploy secure interoperability solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop healthcare middleware applications.
- Implement HL7 FHIR R4 resources and RESTful APIs.
- Integrate pharmacy management systems with EMR/EHR platforms.
- Develop secure API-based healthcare data exchange solutions.
- Map pharmacy dispensing data to FHIR resources such as MedicationDispense.
- Build data transformation and validation services.
- Implement authentication, authorization, logging, and monitoring.
- Troubleshoot integration issues and optimize system performance.
- Prepare technical documentation and API specifications.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of software development experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with HL7 FHIR R4.
- Experience integrating EMR/EHR systems.
- Strong knowledge of REST APIs, JSON, and healthcare interoperability.
- Proficiency in one or more of the following:
- Node.js
- .NET Core
- Java Spring Boot
- Python (FastAPI/Django)
- Experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server.
- Familiarity with OAuth 2.0 and secure API development.
- Experience using Git and modern software development practices.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with OSCAR Pro EMR.
- Experience with Canadian healthcare workflows.
- Knowledge of pharmacy management systems.
- Experience with Docker, AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Understanding of healthcare privacy and compliance requirements.

Pay: ₹375,741.73 - ₹1,553,700.40 per year
