The Stock Clerk is responsible for managing inventory in a frozen stock godown, ensuring proper storage, handling, and accurate record-keeping of all frozen products while maintaining cold chain standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and record incoming frozen goods.
- Ensure proper storage of products at required temperature levels.
- Maintain stock records (inward & outward) accurately in registers or software.
- Monitor inventory levels and report shortages or damages.
- Follow FIFO (First In, First Out) or FEFO (First Expiry, First Out) methods.
- Assist in loading and unloading of goods.
- Conduct regular stock audits and physical verification.
- Ensure cleanliness and hygiene of the storage area.
- Coordinate with warehouse staff, supervisors, and logistics team.
- Follow safety guidelines while working in cold storage conditions.
