Key Responsibilities
Production Planning & Coordination
- Plan cutting schedules in coordination with production to ensure uninterrupted workflow.
- Coordinate fabric lot arrivals with transporters and internal departments.
- Review cutting programs and prioritize work based on production requirements.
- Ensure timely availability of approved samples before cutting begins.
Fabric Receipt & Inventory Control
- Verify received fabric quantities against invoices and delivery documents.
- Maintain complete documentation for all incoming fabric lots.
Fabric Testing & Preparation
- Conduct fabric relaxation as per company standards.
- Perform shrinkage testing and ensure results are within approved tolerance.
Pattern & Shade Management
- Coordinate with the Pattern Team before commencing cutting.
- Ensure accurate roll-to-roll shade matching.
- Verify rib and body fabric shade consistency.
- Resolve any specification or shade-related issues before production.
Cutting Operations
- Execute cutting as per approved markers, cutting plans, and company standards.
- Ensure correct lay height, fabric direction, size ratios, and quantity allocation.
- Monitor contractors and operators to achieve maximum cutting efficiency.
- Prevent production delays through effective planning and supervision.
Quality Control
- Inspect fabric for holes, stains, defects, and shade variations before cutting.
- Ensure all cut panels meet quality standards before dispatch.
- Eliminate cutting defects and maintain high cutting accuracy.
- Ensure adherence to approved cutting procedures throughout the process.
Fabric Consumption Control
- Monitor fabric utilization and minimize wastage.
- Verify actual fabric consumption against approved standards.
- Randomly audit fabric roll consumption and investigate any abnormal variance.
- Report consumption deviations exceeding company tolerance limits.
Panel & Trim Coordination
- Coordinate timely handover of cut panels and related components to the next production stage.
- Ensure all associated trims and preparatory processes are completed within the required timeline.
- Monitor shortages arising from GSM variation, fabric damage, or production issues and ensure prompt resolution.
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain accurate daily cutting reports.
- Record balance fabric, end bits, shortages, and production deviations.
- Maintain complete cutting records for traceability and production analysis.

Required Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree (preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in garment cutting operations.
- Experience in knit garment manufacturing preferred.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
