We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Finance & Accounts Manager / CFO to direct our company’s overall financial strategy, accounting operations, and fiscal compliance. In this role, you will be responsible for driving financial stability, optimizing cash flow, managing working capital, and structuring financial frameworks to support business growth across manufacturing, distribution, and export/domestic trade.
The ideal candidate will combine strong operational accounting leadership with commercial acumen—overseeing cost accounting, supply chain budgeting, tax governance (GST, Income Tax), and strategic financial planning in a multi-division enterprise.
Key Responsibilities1. Financial Strategy, Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
- Formulate and execute long-term financial strategies, operational budgets, capital expenditure (CapEx) plans, and cash flow projections.
- Develop financial models to evaluate new business ventures, product line expansions, machinery investments, and market diversification.
- Present monthly, quarterly, and annual performance reports, financial analytics, and profitability insights to executive leadership.
2. General Accounting & Financial Operations
- Oversee all core accounting functions, including general ledger maintenance, accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), bank reconciliations, and payroll processing.
- Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual closing of financial accounts.
- Implement robust internal control systems to safeguard company assets, mitigate financial risks, and prevent fraud.
3. Cost Accounting & Profitability Analysis
- Establish detailed product costing structures, yield analysis, and margin tracking across different production units and product categories.
- Analyze raw material procurement costs, overhead distribution, wastage factors, and packaging expenses to drive cost-optimization strategies.
- Monitor division-wise and SKU-wise profitability to support pricing decisions for domestic and export sales channels.
4. Statutory Compliance, Taxation & Audits
- Ensure complete compliance with applicable direct and indirect tax laws (GST filings, Income Tax, TDS/TCS, and corporate regulatory requirements).
- Lead end-to-end audit processes, liaising with internal auditors, external statutory auditors, tax authorities, and legal advisors.
- Maintain complete regulatory documentation required for corporate filings, licenses, and statutory reporting.
5. Working Capital, Banking & Treasury Management
- Manage banking relationships, trade finance facilities, working capital credit lines, letter of credit (LC), and bank guarantees.
- Optimize cash flow cycles by actively monitoring inventory turnover, vendor payment terms, and customer credit collections.
- Oversee treasury functions, fund allocation, and risk management strategies regarding commercial loans and interest obligations.
Candidate Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: Chartered Accountant (CA), Cost and Management Accountant (CMA), or Master’s Degree in Finance / MBA (Finance) from a recognized institution.
- Experience: 8 to 12+ years of progressive experience in corporate finance and accounting, with at least 3 to 5 years in a senior managerial or head-of-department role (prior experience in food manufacturing, FMCG, processing, or distribution sectors is highly preferred).
- Technical Knowledge:
- Advanced mastery of ERP software (e.g., SAP, Tally Prime, Zoho Books, or custom manufacturing ERP systems).
- Deep expertise in Indian Tax Laws (GST, Income Tax Act), Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS) / GAAP, and statutory compliance.
- Hands-on proficiency with cost accounting techniques, financial modeling, inventory valuation, and working capital optimization.
- Skills: Strong strategic leadership, sound commercial decision-making, high ethical standards, analytical prowess, and professional communication skills in English and regional languages.
Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
