Job Description:
Electrical Design Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design and development of electrical control panels (MCC, PCC, PLC, and Automation Panels) in accordance with customer specifications and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop electrical schematics and layout drawings using SolidWorks / EPLAN / similar software.
- Prepare General Arrangement (GA), Wiring, and Terminal diagrams for control panels.
- Select electrical components including breakers, contactors, relays, PLCs, VFDs, etc., based on application and load requirements.
- Create Bill of Materials (BOM) and coordinate with the procurement team.
- Work closely with the production team to ensure designs are implemented correctly.
- Interact with clients for technical discussions, approvals, and support.
- Provide support for testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning activities if required.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Diploma in Electrical / Electronics Engineering.
- 2+ years of experience in electrical design of LT panels/control panels.
- Proficient in Solid works(mandatory); knowledge of EPLAN will be an added advantage.
- Sound knowledge of electrical components, panel wiring(Mandatory), and industrial automation.
- Familiar with panel manufacturing processes and safety standards.
- Exposure to PLC/SCADA systems and panel integration.
- Familiar with power distribution and automation panel types.
