Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Senior Purchase Executive to manage procurement activities in the garments industry, with a strong focus on trims and sourcing. The candidate will be responsible for vendor management, cost negotiation, timely procurement, and ensuring quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle end-to-end procurement of garment trims (labels, buttons, zippers, elastics, threads, etc.)
- Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable vendors and suppliers
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules effectively
- Ensure timely sourcing of materials to meet production timelines
- Maintain purchase records, MIS reports, and documentation
- Monitor market trends and pricing to optimize cost efficiency
- Coordinate with production, quality, and merchandising teams
- Ensure quality compliance of sourced materials
- Handle vendor performance evaluation and relationship management
- Manage inventory levels and avoid shortages/excess stock
Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of garment trims and sourcing processes
- Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills
- Good understanding of supply chain and procurement planning
- Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems
- Strong communication and coordination skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Analytical and problem-solving mindset
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (Textile/Fashion preferred)
- Experience in garment manufacturing/export industry
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month
