We are one of the leading distributors in India especially for Excipients. Our principals is from Europe who have put their faith and trust in our abilities to establish and consolidate their brands in India. Our client are all reputed Pharma companies whom we are serving since last 14 years. We maintain around 200 Pharma grade products in ready inventory for JIT supply.
Job Description:
This role will be responsible for coordinating goods collection from our suppliers. The personnel will continuously monitor our platform to compile a list of goods which are ready to collect, discuss with the suppliers if it's appropriate time to collect the goods and coordinate with logistics admin team to physically collect the goods.
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Logistics and Import Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all aspects of logistics and imports, ensuring smooth operations and timely delivery of goods.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate import activities, including documentation, customs clearance, BOL Making and shipping arrangements.
- Liaise with suppliers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers to ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Monitor and track shipments to ensure they arrive on time and in good condition.
- Manage import/export compliance, including ensuring all documentation is complete and accurate.
- Work closely with internal teams, including purchasing, inventory, and sales, to coordinate logistics activities.
- Maintain accurate records of shipments, customs documents, and related activities.
- Analyze logistics data and identify opportunities for process improvement and cost savings.
- Stay updated on import/export regulations and industry trends to ensure compliance and best practices.
- Handle any issues or delays in shipments, including coordinating with carriers and resolving customs issues.
- Assist in developing and implementing logistics strategies to optimize supply chain efficiency.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- Strong understanding of end to end logistics , import regulations, customs procedures, and documentation requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient in advance excel.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions.
- Knowledge of international trade practices and Incoterms.
- Certification in logistics or supply chain management (e.g., Certified International Trade Professional) is a plus.
