Position:
Engineer – Layout (Car Parking System)
Job Summary:
Layout Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing the physical arrangement and integration of Car Parking Systems. The role involves creating detailed layouts, ensuring system compatibility, maintaining safety and regulatory compliance, and coordinating with multidisciplinary engineering teams.
1. Develop 2D and 3D mechanical layouts using CAD software.
2. Ensure drawings comply with project specifications, standards, codes and client specifications
3. Revise drawings based on site conditions and consultant comments.
4. Maintain drawing registers and document control systems. Ensure timely submission and approval of drawings.
5. Prepare general arrangement (GA) drawings and detailed layout documentation
6. Verify dimensions, layouts, and material specifications before release.
7. Review vendor drawings and integrate supplier equipment into system layouts.
8. Ensure efficient utilization of space, accessibility, maintainability, and safety.
9. Collaborate with Layout, Sales, Civil, Electrical, Service, Quality and Procurement Teams
REQUIRED SOFTWARE KNOWLEDGE:
Strong knowledge on AutoCAD, SolidWorks, MS Office.
Understanding of construction standards and engineering drawings.
Good coordination and communication skills.
Design for manufacturability and maintainability
Attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
QUALIFICATION: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical
EXPERIENCE: 5+ years in Car Parking, EPC, MEP
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
