We create practical, career-focused content around job search, LinkedIn, resumes, networking, interviews, personal branding, and the Australian job market.
About the Role
We are looking for a creative, proactive, and social media-savvy intern to help us grow Ark Abroad's presence across Instagram, LinkedIn, and other relevant platforms.
This is a hands-on role where you'll be involved in content research, ideation, creation, social media management, trend research, audience engagement, and performance tracking.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and publish content across Instagram, LinkedIn, and other relevant platforms.
- Research trending topics, formats, competitors, and content opportunities.
- Generate creative ideas for Reels, carousels, posts, and stories.
- Write hooks, captions, CTAs, and basic video scripts.
- Create basic social media designs using Canva.
- Edit short-form videos using CapCut or similar tools.
- Repurpose existing content across different formats and platforms.
- Monitor comments, DMs, and audience engagement.
- Identify potential leads and relevant audience conversations.
- Track social media performance including reach, engagement, views, saves, shares, and leads.
- Prepare basic weekly/monthly performance reports.
- Use AI tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Canva AI, or similar tools for research and content creation.
What We're Looking For
- Strong understanding of Instagram and LinkedIn.
- Creative mindset with a genuine interest in social media and content.
- Good writing and communication skills.
- Comfortable with Canva; CapCut experience is a plus.
- Able to identify trends and turn them into content ideas.
- Good research and organizational skills.
- Proactive and willing to take ownership.
- Comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
- Interest in careers, personal branding, digital marketing, or the Australian job market.
Qualifications
- Pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Mass Communication, Media, Business, Communications, or a related field.
- Freshers are welcome to apply.
- Previous social media, content creation, college marketing, freelance, or creator experience is a plus.
- A portfolio or examples of social media/content work will be preferred.
