SEO Internship – Job Description
Position: SEO Internship

Job Summary
The SEO Intern will support the digital marketing team in improving website visibility on search engines. This internship provides hands-on experience in keyword research, on-page and off-page SEO, technical SEO basics, content optimization, and SEO analytics.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct keyword research using SEO tools.
- Optimize website content, meta titles, meta descriptions, and headings.
- Assist with on-page SEO activities.
- Support off-page SEO efforts such as backlink building and directory submissions.
- Perform competitor analysis and market research.
- Monitor website performance using Google Analytics and Google Search Console.
- Identify and report technical SEO issues.
- Prepare weekly and monthly SEO performance reports.
- Coordinate with content writers and web developers for SEO implementation.
- Stay updated on search engine algorithms and SEO best practices.
Required Skills
- Basic understanding of SEO concepts.
- Knowledge of Google Search, keyword research, and ranking factors.
- Familiarity with Google Analytics and Google Search Console (preferred).
- Basic understanding of HTML and WordPress is an advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to learn quickly and work independently.
Eligibility
- Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Business, Computer Science, IT, Mass Communication, or a related field.
- Certification in Digital Marketing or SEO is an added advantage.
- Passion for digital marketing and search engine optimization.
