About Us:
Light and Life Clinic is a multidisciplinary therapy center located at Derik Junction, Nagercoil. We specialize in speech therapy, occupational therapy, early intervention, and parent education, focusing on children with developmental delays, autism spectrum disorder, and communication difficulties.
Position: Speech Therapist
Location: Derik Junction, Nagercoil
Employment Type: Full-time / Part-time
Job Responsibilities:
Assess and diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in children.
Plan and implement individualized therapy programs tailored to each child’s developmental needs.
Work collaboratively with the occupational therapist and other team members for holistic intervention.
Maintain detailed documentation of therapy sessions and client progress.
Educate and counsel parents regarding home-based strategies and carryover activities.
Conduct group therapy sessions as part of the early intervention and developmental program.
Participate in awareness programs, team meetings, and training sessions organized by the clinic.
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology (BASLP / MASLP).
Valid RCI registration (or in process).
Freshers or experienced candidates are welcome.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
