Role Overview
Everymedia Technologies is looking for a talented and creative Video Editor & Motion Designer who combines strong editing expertise with compelling motion design skills. The ideal candidate should have an excellent eye for visual storytelling, pacing, design, and digital-first content creation.
We are seeking someone with strong communication and collaboration skills, a proven portfolio/showreel, and preferably based in or around Mumbai for seamless coordination with our creative teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit brand films, digital campaigns, social media content, advertisements, and promotional videos.
- Craft compelling narratives through visuals, music, sound design, and pacing.
- Integrate voiceovers, sound effects, and background music to enhance storytelling impact.
- Deliver platform-ready content optimized for Instagram, YouTube, OTT, and other digital channels.
- Ensure all deliverables meet quality, technical, and brand standards.
Motion Graphics & Design
- Create engaging motion graphics, typography animations, transitions, and visual effects using Adobe After Effects.
- Develop logo animations, title sequences, lower-thirds, and branded motion assets.
- Incorporate 2D animation and basic 3D motion elements where required.
- Maintain visual consistency across campaigns and content formats.
Collaboration & Project Management
- Work closely with Creative Directors, Producers, Designers, and Content Teams to execute creative concepts.
- Interpret briefs and storyboards effectively while contributing creative solutions.
- Implement feedback efficiently while maintaining creative quality.
- Organize project files, assets, and timelines to ensure smooth workflow and delivery.
Creative Contribution
- Participate in brainstorming and ideation sessions for branded and digital content.
- Stay updated on emerging trends in editing, motion graphics, and digital storytelling.
- Contribute innovative visual approaches that elevate campaign performance and audience engagement.
Required Skills & Experience
- 2–5 years of professional experience as a Video Editor and/or Motion Graphics Artist.
- Prior experience in a creative agency, production house, media company, or digital content environment preferred.
Technical Skills
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects.
- Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and Audition.
- Familiarity with DaVinci Resolve for basic color correction is an advantage.
- Strong understanding of editing principles, timing, rhythm, typography, sound design, and visual storytelling.
- Experience creating content across digital, social, and campaign-driven platforms.
Soft Skills
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and creative problem-solving ability.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- Collaborative mindset with a proactive approach to feedback and execution.
Preferred Background
- Strong portfolio/showreel demonstrating expertise in both video editing and motion design.
- Candidates residing in Mumbai or nearby locations will be preferred.
