Job Summary:
We are looking for a reliable and responsible Driver cum Maintenance Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a valid driving license and practical knowledge of plumbing and electrical maintenance work. The role involves transportation duties as well as supporting basic maintenance and repair activities within the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
* Safely drive company vehicles as assigned.
* Transport staff, materials, and equipment to designated locations.
* Ensure proper maintenance, cleanliness, and timely servicing of vehicles.
* Perform basic plumbing maintenance and repair works.
* Carry out minor electrical troubleshooting and maintenance tasks.
* Monitor and report maintenance issues related to building facilities.
* Assist in coordinating repairs and maintenance activities when required.
* Maintain records related to vehicle usage, fuel consumption, and maintenance.
* Follow all safety regulations and company policies.
Requirements:
* Valid driving license with a good driving record.
* Proven experience as a driver.
* Basic to intermediate knowledge of plumbing and electrical work.
* Ability to identify and resolve minor maintenance issues.
* Good communication and interpersonal skills.
* Responsible, punctual, and trustworthy.
* Ability to work independently and handle multiple responsibilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Previous experience in facility maintenance or a similar role.
* Technical certification in plumbing, electrical work, or related field will be an added advantage.Job description:
