Liquimine LLP is a rapidly growing beverage manufacturing company specializing in Carbonated Soft Drinks (CSD), Packaged Drinking Water, and Alkaline Water. We are committed to manufacturing safe, high-quality products by maintaining stringent Quality Management Systems and GMP practices.
We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented QC Microbiologist to strengthen our Quality Control Department at our manufacturing facility in Manor, Palghar.
Key ResponsibilitiesMicrobiological Testing
- Perform routine microbiological analysis of raw water, treated water, process water, finished products, and environmental samples.
- Conduct Total Plate Count (TPC), Yeast & Mold Count, Coliform, E. coli, and other microbiological analyses as per BIS/FSSAI standards.
- Carry out environmental monitoring of production and laboratory areas.
- Perform swab testing of equipment, filling lines, packaging areas, and personnel hygiene.
Laboratory Operations
- Prepare microbiological media, reagents, and culture solutions.
- Maintain microbial cultures and reference organisms.
- Sterilize laboratory glassware, media, and equipment using autoclaves.
- Ensure proper calibration and maintenance of microbiology laboratory instruments.
Documentation & Compliance
- Maintain accurate laboratory records, test reports, and microbiology logs.
- Review microbiological results and immediately report any out-of-specification (OOS) findings.
- Prepare trend analysis reports for microbial monitoring.
- Ensure compliance with GMP, GLP, HACCP, FSSAI, and internal Quality Management Systems.
- Support internal and external quality audits.
Quality Assurance Support
- Participate in investigations related to microbial contamination.
- Assist in CAPA implementation and root cause analysis.
- Coordinate with Production and QA departments for corrective and preventive actions.
- Verify cleaning and sanitation effectiveness.
General Responsibilities
- Maintain laboratory cleanliness and safety.
- Ensure proper disposal of microbiological waste.
- Follow all safety protocols and PPE requirements.
- Perform any additional quality-related tasks assigned by the Quality Manager.
Candidate RequirementsEducational Qualification
- B.Sc./M.Sc. in Microbiology, Biotechnology, Life Sciences, or an equivalent discipline.
Experience
- 1–5 years of experience in microbiological testing within the beverage, food, pharmaceutical, dairy, or packaged drinking water industry.
- Freshers with strong laboratory knowledge may also be considered.
Technical Skills
- Good understanding of microbiological testing methods.
- Knowledge of GMP, GLP, HACCP, FSSAI, and BIS requirements.
- Familiarity with aseptic techniques and laboratory best practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and documentation.

Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: Up to ₹28,000 per month (Based on Experience & Qualifications)
- Fixed Transportation Allowance: ₹150 per working day (paid in addition to salary)

Candidates residing in Palghar, Manor, Boisar, Virar, Vasai, Dahanu, or nearby locations will be given preference. Candidates willing to relocate are also encouraged to apply.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹28,000.00 per month
