About the Role
We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Quality Assurance (QA) Intern to join our QA team. This internship is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are eager to build a career in software testing and quality assurance. You will gain hands-on experience by working on live projects while learning industry-standard testing practices and tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform manual testing of web and mobile applications.
- Execute test cases and document testing results accurately.
- Identify, report, and track software defects using bug-tracking tools.
- Conduct functional, regression, smoke, and exploratory testing.
- Validate bug fixes before deployment.
- Collaborate with developers and business analysts to understand project requirements.
- Prepare and maintain test cases, test scenarios, and testing documentation.
- Participate in sprint planning, QA discussions, and review meetings.
- Ensure applications meet quality standards before release.
- Contribute to improving the overall QA process and product quality.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of Software Testing concepts.
- Knowledge of SDLC and STLC.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Good attention to detail and a quality-focused mindset.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with Jira or similar bug-tracking tools.
- Basic knowledge of API Testing.
- Understanding of SQL and databases.
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Basic knowledge of automation testing tools is an added advantage.
