Economics Teacher Responsibilities & Duties
- Develop and deliver lesson plans that meet curriculum standards.
- Instruct students on economic theories, principles, and methodologies.
- Facilitate classroom discussions and encourage student participation.
- Evaluate and grade students' assignments, projects, and exams.
- Stay current with ongoing developments in the field of economics.
- Prepare and administer tests and assessments.
- Offer academic advisement and support to students.
- Guide students in research projects and practical applications of economic theories.
- Coordinate with other teachers and staff to enhance the educational experience.
- Organize and participate in extracurricular activities related to economics.
- Utilize technology and digital tools to enhance learning.
- Engage with parents and guardians to discuss student progress.
