Horticulture Executive
Job Summary
The Horticulture Executive is responsible for managing horticultural activities, maintaining landscapes and gardens, supervising plantation work, ensuring plant health, and coordinating with vendors and maintenance teams. The role focuses on creating and maintaining aesthetically pleasing and sustainable green spaces while adhering to safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute plantation and landscaping activities.
- Monitor the health of trees, shrubs, flowers, lawns, and indoor plants.
- Schedule watering, pruning, fertilization, pest control, and seasonal maintenance.
- Identify and treat plant diseases, pests, and nutrient deficiencies.
- Supervise gardeners and horticulture staff to ensure work quality.
- Coordinate with landscaping contractors and nursery vendors for plant procurement.
- Maintain irrigation systems and recommend improvements.
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of horticultural tools and equipment.
- Prepare maintenance schedules and inspection reports.
- Maintain records of plant inventory, fertilizer usage, pesticides, and maintenance activities.
- Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations.
- Support beautification and sustainability initiatives across the premises.
- Manage budgets related to landscaping and horticulture activities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Horticulture, Agriculture, Forestry, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in horticulture, landscaping, nursery management, or garden maintenance.
- Knowledge of plant species, fertilizers, irrigation systems, pest management, and landscaping techniques.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
