Job Title: Solar Plant Project Manager Company: Tata Power Solar | Pindwara, Rajasthan
About the Role:
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Solar Plant Project Manager to oversee end-to-end execution of residential and commercial solar installations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring quality, timeliness, and efficiency across all project phases.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Site Inspection Conduct thorough pre-installation site surveys to assess structural integrity, shadow analysis, roof load capacity, and electrical feasibility. Prepare detailed site inspection reports and recommend optimal system layouts.
2. Material Estimation Accurately estimate material requirements including solar panels, inverters, mounting structures, cables, and balance of system components based on site conditions and project specifications. Ensure zero material wastage and cost optimization.
3. Site Engineering & Commissioning Oversee complete site engineering including panel mounting, wiring, earthing, and inverter installation as per IS standards. Handle end-to-end system commissioning, testing, and handover ensuring full compliance with DISCOM and RRECL norms.
4. Material Tracking Maintain real-time tracking of all materials from warehouse to site. Ensure proper documentation of material inward/outward, minimize pilferage, and coordinate timely delivery to avoid project delays.
5. Communication & Coordination Serve as the primary point of contact between clients, vendors and internal teams. Provide regular project updates, resolve on-site issues proactively, and ensure client satisfaction at every stage.
Requirements:
- Experience in solar EPC or construction project management preferred
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
