Position: Kindergarten Teacher (Nursery/LKG/HKG)About the Role
Lzebra Public School is looking for a caring, enthusiastic, and creative Kindergarten Teacher who is passionate about nurturing young minds. The ideal candidate should create a joyful, engaging, and safe learning environment that promotes children's cognitive, emotional, social, and physical development.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and conduct interactive, age-appropriate classroom activities.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Develop children's foundational skills in literacy, numeracy, communication, and creativity.
- Organize storytelling, music, dance, art & craft, and play-based learning activities.
- Monitor and assess each child's developmental progress.
- Maintain classroom discipline with patience and positive reinforcement.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding students' progress and well-being.
- Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, classroom displays, and teaching aids.
- Participate in school events, celebrations, PTMs, and extracurricular activities.
- Ensure children's safety, hygiene, and emotional well-being throughout the school day.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in any discipline.
- Diploma/Degree in Early Childhood Education (NTT/D.El.Ed./Montessori Training) preferred.
- Freshers with excellent communication skills and passion for teaching may also apply.
Skills Required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Creativity and enthusiasm for teaching young learners.
- Patience, empathy, and classroom management skills.
- Basic computer knowledge.
- Ability to work collaboratively with staff and parents.
Experience
- 0–3 years of experience in preschool or kindergarten teaching preferred.
