- Sales Leadership: Set and achieve monthly and annual unit sales and gross profit targets. Train, mentor, and monitor the performance of new- and used-vehicle sales managers and consultants.
- Inventory & Merchandising: Ensure a healthy, balanced inventory of new and used vehicles to maximize turnover. Establish showroom merchandising standards and oversee prompt reconditioning of used cars.
- Customer Relationship Management (CRM): Ensure top-tier customer satisfaction throughout the buying process. Review customer feedback and resolve escalated complaints.
- Financial Management: Forecast operating profits, manage the departmental budget, and work alongside the F&I (Finance & Insurance) team to increase sales penetration.
- Strategy & Reporting: Analyze market trends and competitor activity to adjust pricing and create targeted promotional campaigns.
