Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) – Political Science to join our academic team. The ideal candidate should possess excellent subject knowledge, strong communication skills, and the ability to inspire students through engaging and interactive teaching practices while preparing them for academic excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver Political Science lessons for Classes XI & XII as per the CBSE curriculum.
- Develop lesson plans, assignments, question papers, and assessment materials.
- Use innovative teaching methodologies and digital tools to enhance classroom learning.
- Assess and evaluate students' academic performance through tests, projects, and periodic assessments.
- Provide academic guidance and mentorship to help students excel in Board examinations and higher education.
- Encourage students to participate in debates, Model United Nations (MUNs), quizzes, seminars, and other subject-related activities.
- Maintain accurate academic records, attendance, and student progress reports.
- Ensure a disciplined, inclusive, and positive classroom environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues and participate in staff meetings, workshops, and school events.
- Perform other academic and administrative responsibilities assigned by the school.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Educational Qualification: Master's Degree in Political Science with B.Ed. (as per CBSE norms).
- Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of teaching experience at the senior secondary level in a CBSE school.
- Strong knowledge of the CBSE curriculum and Board examination pattern.
- Excellent communication, classroom management, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using technology and digital teaching tools.
- Passion for teaching and commitment to students' academic and personal development.
