Key Purpose
The primary responsibility of a Fitter Cum Technician is to ensure “First Time Right” (FTR) jobs by accurately diagnosing, repairing, and completing vehicle-related work within the estimated time.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair vehicles reported to the dealership.
- Identify any additional repair requirements and obtain concurrence from the Floor Controller / Bodyshop Supervisor before carrying out extra work.
- Complete assigned jobs within the estimated time.
- Conduct a thorough self-quality check after completing the job.
- Minimize repeat repairs and ensure high-quality workmanship.
- Maintain proper housekeeping and cleanliness of the allocated work bay.
- Maintain a positive and professional relationship with the workshop team.
- Follow all prescribed safety rules, regulations, and workshop procedures.
- Use appropriate protective equipment wherever required.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong technical knowledge of vehicle repair and fitting.
- Meticulous and quality-focused workmanship.
- Good discipline and adherence to safety standards.
- Ability to work efficiently with good speed.
- Ability to read and understand technical information in English.
Education
Experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Fitter Cum Technician in an automobile garage/workshop.
Pay: ₹16,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
