About the role:
ScalePros Media is a Canadian digital marketing agency based in Ontario. We are looking for a skilled, portfolio-proven video editor to create scroll-stopping short-form content — Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts — for our clients.

Responsibilities:
- Edit talking-head clips, cinematic b-roll, and product/brand promo footage into polished, high-retention short-form videos
- Apply color grading, motion graphics, and text animation
- Perform light VFX and compositing work in After Effects
- Sync music and sound design to pacing and cuts
- Deliver export-ready vertical video, 9:16, 1080x1920
Requirements:
- 2+ years of professional short-form video editing experience
- Strong working knowledge of Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve
- Experience with After Effects for motion graphics and light compositing
- A portfolio of 3-5 samples showing real vertical/social media content, not just long-form or wedding work
- Strong written and spoken English for feedback and revision rounds
- Reasonable availability overlap with Eastern Time, Canada; fully async workflow is fine
Hours: Part-time, 15-20 hours per week
