About the Role
Jyoti Enterprises is looking for an experienced GeM Executive to manage procurement and bidding activities through the Government e-Marketplace (GeM) portal. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in GeM bidding, product/service listings, order processing, OEM authorization, and vendor management. The candidate will be responsible for end-to-end GeM operations while ensuring compliance with government procurement guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Search and monitor bid opportunities on the Government e-Marketplace (GeM) Portal.
- Prepare, review, and submit bids on GeM within prescribed timelines.
- Manage GeM product and service catalogues, product listings, and pricing updates.
- Handle bid participation, reverse auctions, direct purchase, L1 purchase, and BOQ bids.
- Coordinate with internal teams for technical specifications, pricing, and documentation.
- Prepare quotations, compliance statements, technical documents, and commercial proposals.
- Manage OEM authorizations, reseller authorizations, and required certifications.
- Process GeM orders, invoices, dispatch details, and payment follow-ups.
- Track bid status, corrigenda, clarifications, order execution, and contract completion.
- Maintain records of bids submitted, awarded, pending, and completed orders.
- Ensure compliance with GeM policies, procurement procedures, and contractual requirements.
- Coordinate with government departments, buyers, suppliers, and logistics partners for smooth execution.
- Handle vendor registration, product approvals, and profile management on the GeM portal.
- Generate periodic reports on bid participation, success rate, revenue, and pending opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in any discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in GeM Portal Operations, Government Procurement, or Tender Management.
Required Skills
- Hands-on experience with the Government e-Marketplace (GeM) Portal.
- Strong knowledge of GeM bidding procedures, product/service listings, and procurement policies.
- Experience in bid preparation, documentation, compliance, and order execution.
- Knowledge of OEM authorization, reseller registration, and vendor management.
- Excellent documentation, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and coordination abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work under strict deadlines with high accuracy.
- Good understanding of government procurement procedures, commercial terms, and contract management.
Preferred Experience
- Experience handling GeM bids for Civil, Construction, MEP, IT, Industrial, or Infrastructure products and services.
- Knowledge of reverse auctions, BOQ bidding, custom catalog creation, and bid management.
- Experience in Government procurement, public sector projects, or related industries.
- Familiarity with CPPP, CPWD, Railways, PWD, NBCC, DDA, and State e-Procurement portals will be an added advantage.
