Role Overview:
We are looking for a senior business leader to drive and scale demand-side partnerships for Pubmaxx, with a focused mandate on revenue growth and market expansion beyond India.
This role is demand-led, not supply-side or product-owned. The individual will work closely with Product, Programmatic, and DSP teams to ensure demand strategy is aligned with platform capabilities and publisher performance.
The role is responsible for identifying 2 scalable international markets (outside India) that can together contribute ~50% of overall revenue, and for defining category-level demand strategies for app publishers.
The team already has a strong background in publisher & monetization ecosystem that can help expedite the success curve.
Key Responsibilities
1. Demand-Side Partnerships (Primary Ownership)
Own and scale demand-side relationships across:

Global ad networks

DSP-aligned monetization partners

Platform-led demand ecosystems

Drive commercial and performance outcomes from demand partnerships

Act as the primary business interface for demand partners within Pubmaxx
2. Market Expansion & Revenue Diversification
Identify and evaluate 2 international markets with strong demand-side maturity and scalability
Build market entry strategies covering:

Demand availability & quality
-
Commercial viability
-
Regulatory and monetization nuances

Drive execution toward ~50% revenue contribution from non-India markets over time
3. App Category & Demand Strategy

Identify high-potential app categories for demand monetization

Define category-specific demand strategies (formats, pricing, partner mix)

Work with internal teams to prioritize demand efforts for maximum ROI
4. Market & Competitive Intelligence
Track and analyze:

Demand-side trends

Global AdTech & app monetization shifts

Competitive platforms and positioning
Share insights with:

Product teams (roadmap inputs)

DSP & programmatic teams (optimization alignment)

5. Cross-Functional Collaboration (Non-Ownership)
Work closely with:

Product teams to align demand capabilities with platform roadmap

DSP & Programmatic teams to ensure demand performance translates into yield

Act as a strategic collaborator, not a product or supply owner
6. Publisher Acquisition & Growth

Own and drive the strategy for acquiring and onboarding mid-to-large mobile app publishers

Build, manage, and scale a strong supply-side network across mobile app publishers

Lead end-to-end sales cycles including outreach, pitching, negotiation, onboarding, and long-term relationship management

Work closely with publishers to understand their monetization goals and position our solution as a long-term revenue partner
7. Monetization & Performance

Ensure publishers achieve incremental ad revenue, yield optimization, and monetization KPIs

Track and own key business metrics such as publisher acquisition targets, revenue growth, retention, and ARPU uplift

Collaborate with product, ad operations, and analytics teams to ensure smooth onboarding and performance optimization
8. Leadership & Team Management

Build, mentor, and lead a Business Development / Sales team focused on publisher growth

Define sales processes, playbooks, targets, and performance metrics for the team

Foster a high-performance, data-driven, and execution-focused sales culture
9. Strategy & Stakeholder Management

Act as a senior commercial voice for the company in the AdTech ecosystem

Provide market insights, competitive intelligence, and feedback to the leadership and other teams
