The FMCG Driver is responsible for the safe and timely transportation of finished goods (chapathi and other food products) and, when required, raw materials across distribution points, retail outlets, and warehouses. The role ensures product safety, accurate deliveries, and efficient route management.
Key Responsibilities
- Transport finished goods to retailers, distributors, and customers as per daily schedule.
- Assist in loading and unloading of goods at warehouse and delivery points.
- Ensure proper handling to maintain product quality and hygiene.
- Follow assigned delivery routes and optimize time for efficient distribution.
- Maintain delivery records, invoices, and proof of delivery (POD).
- Collect payments (if applicable) and submit to accounts team.
- Verify quantity and condition of goods during dispatch and delivery.
- Maintain cleanliness of vehicle (especially for food product transportation).
- Perform daily vehicle inspection (fuel, oil, tyres, brakes).
- Report vehicle issues, delays, or damages immediately.
- Coordinate with warehouse, sales, and logistics teams.
- Follow all traffic rules and company safety guidelines.
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
