Linux Platform Development Engineer
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain embedded software and middleware components for Linux,
QNX, and Android-based systems.
- Create and optimize device drivers within the Linux, Android, or QNX environments,
ensuring robust and efficient hardware interaction.
- Develop and implement automated solutions using scripting languages such as Python and
Shell to streamline development workflows and enhance productivity.
- Utilize advanced debugging tools (e.g., JTAG, Lauterbach, trace tools) to identify and
resolve complex software issues, ensuring the stability and performance of the platform.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate software components and deliver
high-quality products.
- Contribute to the entire software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering and
design to implementation, testing, and deployment.
- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in embedded systems and Linux kernel
development, and apply this knowledge to improve our software.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in embedded C/C++ development.
- Proven experience working with operating systems including Linux, QNX, and Android.
- Demonstrated knowledge and success in the development of device drivers in Linux,
Android, or QNX.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python and Shell for automation is mandatory.
- Hands-on experience with debugging tools such as JTAG, Lauterbach, and trace tools is highly desirable.
- Experience with NVM, eMMC/UFS is a plus.
Pay: ₹1,000,000.00 - ₹1,600,000.00 per year
