Job Summary:-
We are looking for an experienced and responsible Store Incharge to manage the complete store and inventory operations at our factory. The candidate will be responsible for receiving, storing, issuing and maintaining records of raw materials, hardware, consumables, tools and other factory-related materials while ensuring accurate stock levels and proper documentation.
Key Responsibilities:-
- Manage day-to-day store operations at the factory.
- Receive incoming raw materials and verify quantity and quality against PO, Invoice and Delivery Challan.
- Maintain proper Inward/GRN and Outward/Material Issue records.
- Issue raw materials and consumables to the production team as per authorized requirements.
- Maintain stock of MDF, plywood, laminates, hardware, adhesives, electrical items, fittings, consumables, tools and other production materials.
- Ensure proper identification, labeling and systematic storage of all materials.
- Maintain minimum and maximum stock levels and inform the Purchase/Management team about material requirements.
- Maintain accurate stock records in MS Excel/ERP.
- Conduct regular physical stock verification and reconcile it with book/system stock.
- Track material consumption, wastage, shortage, damage and unused materials.
- Maintain proper records of returnable and non-returnable materials.
- Keep records of tools and equipment issued to production workers and ensure their return.
- Coordinate with Purchase, Production, Accounts and Factory Management regarding material requirements and discrepancies.
- Prepare daily, weekly and monthly stock reports.
- Ensure proper housekeeping and systematic arrangement of the store.
- Prevent unauthorized material movement and minimize material loss/wastage.
- Support management during stock audits and physical verification.
- Ensure all store-related documents are properly maintained and filed.
Required Skills:-
- Good knowledge of Store & Inventory Management.
- Good knowledge of factory raw materials and hardware.
- Strong knowledge of MS Excel and stock maintenance.
- Knowledge of GRN, PO, Invoice, Challan and Material Requisition.
- Good numerical and record-keeping skills.
- Good coordination with production and purchase teams.
- Ability to identify stock discrepancies and control material wastage.
- Honest, responsible and disciplined.
Qualification & Experience
- 12th / Graduate preferred.
- 2–5 years of experience in Store/Inventory Management.
- Experience in interior, furniture, modular, fabrication, manufacturing or similar factory environment will be preferred.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per hour
