ABOUT THE ROLE
Pinkrock Production is looking for a creative, passionate and detail-oriented Video Editor who understands visual storytelling and can turn raw footage into engaging, impactful and high-quality content.
The ideal candidate should have a strong eye for editing, composition, pacing, music, sound, colour and storytelling, along with the ability to understand a creative brief and deliver polished videos within deadlines.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Edit brand films, corporate videos, social media content, Reels, Shorts and digital campaigns.
- Select the right shots and create engaging visual narratives.
- Understand scripts, storyboards and creative briefs before starting an edit.
- Create strong pacing, transitions and storytelling flow.
- Add music, sound effects, dialogue, voice-over and subtitles.
- Perform colour correction and basic colour grading.
- Create and integrate motion graphics, titles and visual effects.
- Sync and clean audio for professional output.
- Adapt videos for different platforms and formats.
- Work closely with Directors, Cinematographers, Creative Teams and Producers.
- Handle client/creative feedback and deliver revisions efficiently.
- Manage project files, footage, assets and backups in an organised manner.
- Deliver projects within agreed timelines while maintaining quality.
REQUIRED SKILLSEditing Software
Must Have
- Adobe Premiere Pro
- Adobe After Effects
Good to Have
- DaVinci Resolve
- Adobe Photoshop
- Adobe Illustrator
Technical & Creative Skills
- Strong understanding of video editing and visual storytelling
- Excellent sense of timing, rhythm and pacing
- Good knowledge of colour correction & grading
- Basic to intermediate motion graphics & VFX
- Good understanding of music and sound design
- Knowledge of video codecs, formats and export settings
- Experience with 9:16, 16:9 and 1:1 formats

- Creative Editing
- Cinematic / Storytelling Projects
Strong portfolio and practical skills will be given more importance than formal qualifications.
QUALIFICATION
Degree/Diploma in Film Making, Mass Communication, Animation, Multimedia, Graphic Design, Video Editing or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
