Key Responsibilities
Customer Interaction: Greet commercial fleet owners or drivers and listen to vehicle complaints.
Job Card Creation: Document exact mechanical or electrical issues on official workshop job cards.
Cost Estimation: Provide accurate time and cost estimates for parts and labor before repairs begin.
Workshop Coordination: Partner with the Senior Technician Team to track vehicle repair progress.
Service Upselling: Recommend value-added services, AMC (Annual Maintenance Contracts), and genuine Force Motors spare parts.
Vehicle Delivery: Explain performed repairs and invoices clearly to the customer upon vehicle handover.
Insurance Handling: Verify insurance coverages and process claims for accidental commercial vehicles.
Warrenty Handling :
Identify warrantable parts, check vehicle service history, and submit warranty claims directly into the Force Motors system.
Role Requirements & Qualifications
Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering.
Experience: 3 to 5+ years of experience in automotive service advising, with a strong preference for commercial vehicle backgrounds.
Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of commercial vehicle aggregates, diesel engines, and troubleshooting.
Language Skills: Fluency in Tamil is mandatory for driver interaction; professional English is required for system documentation and dealership reporting.
Computer Skills: Experience using Dealer Management Systems (DMS) for job card routing.
Compensation :
Salary ranges from ₹15,000 to ₹20,000 per month, depending on experience levels and PF & ESI Benefits.
