Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day operations across sales, design, procurement, production, quality, installation, service and administration.
- Develop and execute business strategies aligned with the company’s growth objectives.
- Establish production plans and ensure projects are completed within the committed cost, quality and delivery timelines.
- Monitor project progress from enquiry and order confirmation through manufacturing, installation and final handover.
- Coordinate closely with engineering and production teams for customized equipment projects.
- Improve operational efficiency through effective systems, processes, reporting and performance monitoring.
- Review sales performance, support key customer negotiations and identify new domestic and export business opportunities.
- Maintain strong relationships with customers, vendors and other business partners.
- Ensure compliance with applicable quality, safety and statutory requirements.
- Monitor budgets, operating costs, cash flow, collections and overall business profitability.
- Recruit, guide and evaluate departmental heads and team members.
- Resolve operational bottlenecks, customer escalations and interdepartmental issues.
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Industrial Engineering or a related field. An MBA or equivalent management qualification is preferred.
- Minimum 10–15 years of relevant experience, including substantial experience in a senior leadership position.
- Experience in manufacturing, industrial equipment, hydraulics, material-handling equipment or capital machinery is strongly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of production planning, project management, quality systems, procurement and cost control.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage customized engineering projects.
- Strong commercial understanding with experience in budgeting, profitability analysis and customer negotiations.
- Excellent leadership, decision-making, communication and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in English is required. The ability to communicate in multiple regional languages—such as Hindi, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam—is preferred.
- Willingness to travel for customer meetings, project reviews and site visits when required.
