Job Summary
Unimech Industries Pvt. Ltd. is looking for Heat Treatment Operators to support heat treatment operations in our Steel Foundry division.
The ideal candidate should have good technical understanding, system knowledge and the ability to operate and monitor heat treatment processes safely and accurately. Candidates with prior experience in steel foundry heat treatment operations will be preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor heat treatment furnaces and related equipment.
- Follow approved heat treatment procedures, work instructions and process parameters.
- Monitor and record furnace temperature, heating cycle, soaking time, cooling cycle and other required parameters.
- Ensure correct loading and unloading of castings as per the approved process.
- Maintain heat treatment process records and system entries accurately.
- Monitor furnace operation and immediately report abnormal conditions or process deviations.
- Coordinate with Production, Quality, NDT and other departments for heat treatment requirements.
- Ensure proper identification and traceability of castings throughout the heat treatment process.
- Follow safety procedures, PPE requirements and housekeeping standards.
- Support preventive maintenance and basic inspection of heat treatment equipment.
- Ensure process discipline and adherence to quality requirements.
- Maintain accurate documentation and production records.
