Position: Manufacturing Engineer/Process Engineer – Cable Assembly
Qualification : B. Tech Mechanical Engineering
Experience : 8+ years of experience in Process Engineering of Cable Assembly domain
Location: Cochin, Kerala
Salary : As per industry
Roles and Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain Process Failure Mode & Effects Analysis (PFMEA), Process Flow Charts (PFC), and Work Instructions (WI) to ensure robust process control and risk mitigation.
* Design and develop tools and fixtures to enhance process capability, productivity, and quality performance.
* Establish and implement manufacturing standards, process controls, and validation plans during sample development and mass production.
* Ensure compliance and working knowledge of IPC/WHMA-A-620 standards for wire harness assembly and workmanship requirements.
* Review and interpret product specifications, drawings, and process requirements for both ongoing production and product transfers.
* Collaborate with cross-site Manufacturing Engineering teams to support smooth product transfer and localization activities.
* Manage receipt, verification, and organization of manufacturing equipment details and documentation during product transfers and New Product Development (NPD).
