Job Summary
Orbit Solar Energy Systems is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Liaisoning Executive to coordinate with government departments, electricity distribution companies (DISCOMs), and regulatory authorities for obtaining approvals, permits, and clearances related to solar projects. The candidate will ensure timely processing of applications and maintain strong professional relationships with external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate with DISCOMs, electricity boards, and government authorities for project approvals and permissions.
- Prepare, submit, and track applications for net metering, feasibility approvals, load enhancement, and other statutory requirements.
- Ensure timely collection and submission of all required documents.
- Follow up regularly with concerned departments to expedite approvals.
- Maintain accurate records of applications, approvals, and project documentation.
- Coordinate with the Sales, Design, Documentation, and Installation teams for project-related requirements.
- Resolve issues related to approvals, documentation, and compliance.
- Stay updated with the latest government policies, regulations, and DISCOM procedures related to solar projects.
- Prepare daily and weekly status reports on pending and completed approvals.
- Build and maintain professional relationships with government officials and regulatory authorities.
Eligibility
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in any discipline (Engineering preferred).
- 1–3 years of experience in liaisoning, documentation, or government coordination.
- Experience in the solar industry or electrical sector is preferred.
- Freshers with excellent communication skills and willingness to learn may also apply.
Required Skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of DISCOM procedures and government approval processes.
- Good documentation and record management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving and follow-up skills.
- Willingness to travel within the city for official work.
