1. Bird Care
- Provide food and fresh water to birds as per the feeding schedule.
- Monitor birds for signs of illness, stress, or injury.
- Assist in handling birds safely during health checks or treatments.
- Support breeding and nesting activities.
2. Cage & Aviary Maintenance
- Clean cages, aviaries, and surrounding areas regularly.
- Replace bedding material and maintain hygienic conditions.
- Ensure proper ventilation, lighting, and temperature in bird housing.
3. Health Monitoring
- Observe bird behavior and report any abnormalities to the supervisor or veterinarian.
- Assist in vaccination, medication, and basic bird health care.
- Maintain cleanliness to prevent disease spread.
4. Feeding Management
- Prepare feed and supplements according to farm guidelines.
- Maintain feed storage and ensure quality of feed.
- Monitor feed consumption.
5. Record Keeping
- Maintain records of feeding, mortality, breeding, and health treatments.
- Assist in tagging or identification of birds if required.
6. Farm Support
- Support egg collection and incubation processes.
- Assist in moving birds between cages or enclosures.
- Maintain tools and equipment used in bird care.
Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of bird care or livestock handling
- Ability to observe bird health and behavior
- Physical ability to work in farm environments
- Discipline and cleanliness in handling birds
Qualification
- Minimum 10th / 12th pass
- Experience in poultry farm / aviary / animal care preferred
